Data controller

PixiCode, publisher of the PixiGame brand, whose registered office is located at 2 Place Jean V, 44000 Nantes, France, is the controller for the processing described in this policy. Contact: contact@pixicode.dev.

Data we collect

On the pixigame.io website: your email address and language when subscribing to the newsletter; your email address and the content of your message when contacting support; the hosting provider’s technical logs (IP address, timestamps), required for service security.

In the games: account identifier, progress, match statistics and, if you provided it, your email address. We collect the minimum required for the games to work.

Purposes and legal bases

• Newsletter: announcing game releases. Legal basis: your consent, collected through double opt-in and withdrawable at any time.
• Support: answering your requests. Legal basis: PixiCode’s legitimate interest in assisting players.
• Running the games (saves, leaderboards): performance of the service you request.
• Security and technical logs: PixiCode’s legitimate interest in securing the service.

Data collected through the website is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes. The games may display advertising; any advertising partners process data according to the consent choices you express in the game. No fully automated decision producing legal effects is made.

Retention periods

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe (a link is present in every email).
• Support requests: for the time needed to handle the request, then at most twelve months.
• Game accounts: as long as the account is active; if you request deletion, effective erasure within thirty days.
• Technical logs: according to the legal retention periods applied by the hosting provider.

Recipients and processors

Data is processed by PixiCode and by processors acting on its instructions:

• OVH SAS (Roubaix, France): website hosting, data stored in the European Union.
• Brevo (Paris, France): newsletter management, data stored in the European Union.

No data is transferred outside the European Union for these processing activities.

Newsletter

Signing up to the newsletter uses double opt-in: you confirm your address through a validation email before anything is sent. The address is only used to announce game releases, one letter per launch. Every email contains an immediate unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them: through support or at contact@pixicode.dev. We reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
